abstract = "For the 2026 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP 2026), a dedicated Industry Track was organised to provide a forum for work on real-world applications of speech and language technologies. The track received 931 submissions, which were evaluated by 733 reviewers and 158 area chairs. Following the review process, 265 papers were selected for presentation, including 23 oral presentations and 242 posters. Across the accepted programme, prominent themes include evaluation and benchmarking, agents and orchestration, efficient serving and cost control, retrieval and knowledge grounding, and safety and reliability. This overview summarises the scope of the track and its submission and review process, highlights these research trends, and describes the Industry Track programme, including its oral sessions and panel discussion."
