Paired with a standard metric of inter-annotator agreement such as Krippendorffs {\ensuremath{\alpha}}, {\ensuremath{\sigma}} measures the amount of disagreement which stems from genuine subjective factors as opposed to the amount of disagreement caused by inner features of the annotation task.
